Dr. Robert W. Trice, Jr., Senior Pastor
Pastor Trice, a native of New York State, comes to us from Lynchburg, Virginia. In Lynchburg, he served as Pastor of the Wingfield Baptist Church for 16 years. Pastor Trice accepted his call to gospel ministry at the age of 29, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Leonard N. Smith at the Union Baptist Church in Gordonsville, Virginia.
Pastor Trice received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Intercultural Open University and his Master of Biblical Studies degree from Eastern Theological Seminary. Most recently, he earned the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Virginia University at Lynchburg.
He is married to the former Miss Kim Walker.
Pastor Trice has worked tirelessly for the denomination and his community. Examples of his community service include initiating the sponsorship for building two Habitat for Humanity homes for low-income families. Serving two terms on the Greater Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, serving as Recording Secretary for the Virginia State Convention, and serving on the Mayor’s committee to address youth gang violence.
